Message from the Director, Halal Food Expo 2015
My dear friends;
I feel immense pleasure to announce that all the preparations and arrangements of the first Australian ‘Halal Food Expo 2015’ being held on Sunday 12 April 2015 at Fairfield Showground, have been completed, and my team is ready to deliver the event according to the announced schedule and plan.
I know everyone is excited and desperately waiting for the moment to come for which my team has done hard work days & nights for the HFE 2015 event in the last couple of months. Our sponsors, exhibitors, community organisations, performers, volunteers, local councillors, parliamentarians, and diplomats have provided us great support and encouragement. The message from the state minister for multicultural affairs and recent message from the Prime Minister have given us great confidence and acknowledgements of the importance of the event.
Some people have shown little concern about negative speculations and detractors going on in the social media for which I would like to say that Halal Food Expo is an opportunity for everyone to be educated about Halal products, services & business as they may be ignorant of the benefits of the Halal industry for the Australian economy. And as the Prime Minister Hon Tony Abbott says in his message, ‘In Australia and around the world, food is central to cultural expression. The mutual respect of different cultural and linguistic communities for each other is one of our country’s great strengths.’
The event is open for everyone who want to promote harmony, peace and understanding in our multicultural society. As there is no room for anti-ism and fanaticism in our society so as in our event.
Halal Food Expo is a family event where we are bringing activities and fun for all ages. Therefore, come with your family with a plan to spend whole day, as event will end with a spectacular fireworks at 8.30pm.
