Tribune Report, 18 June 2024:Diplomatic sources in Saudi Arabia confirmed on Tuesday 18 June 2024 that at least 550 pilgrims died during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage due to extreme heat-related issues, as reported by several media outlets. Among the deceased, 323 were identified as Egyptian nationals. The fatalities were primarily attributed to heat-related illnesses.
