In a message sent to the organisers of Halal Expo Australia, the High Commission of Pakistan to Canberra, Ms. Naela Chohan says the following;
‘I would like to convey my heartiest felicitations to Syed Atiq ul Hassan for successfully organising the second Halal Food Expo in Sydney’.
‘This is a very good platform to connect Australian and Pakistani Business Communities and explore the huge Halal market to the mutual benefit of the two countries’.
‘As the global Halal Food market continues to expand, such events contribute to increasing a better understanding of this growing industry’.
‘In Pakistan food is central to our cultural expression. The Cultural activities on the sidelines of the Halal Food Expo would promote the mutual respect between different cultural and linguistic communities. Another positive impact of such an event would be enhancing cooperation between different communities as well as our two countries’.
I would like to commend the organizers for this very positive initiative and wish them all the success in this event’.
