Sydney (Tribune International Report); After attracting more than 10,000 visitors in the first Australian Halal Expo, the schedule of the 2nd Halal Expo Australia has been announced by the organisers.
Due to overwhelming interest shown by the Victorian halal businesses and the multicultural communities, the organisers are hosting the 2nd Halal Expo Australia in Melbourne and Sydney in 2016.
The Halal Expo Australia 2016 will be held in Melbourne on Sunday 10th of January 2016 at Melbourne Showground and in Sydney on Sunday 10th of April at Fairfield Showground.
The organisers of the Halal Expo Australia 2016 expect that due to the huge turn-up of over 10,000 people in the first Halal Expo and overwhelmingly interest shown by the halal business community, Islamic organisations and by the people of Melbourne more than 10,000 people in Melbourne and more than 20,000 people in Sydney are expected to attend.
The aim of the halal expo Australia is to promote and make awareness of the significance of halal food, products & services within the growing Australian Islamic Community and also to provide experience to those who don’t know about halal food or never used any halal products. It is a mega multicultural fair and festival style event by bringing Australian halal food makers, halal consumable products suppliers/manufactures, and different Australian halal services professions under one roof with lots of fun and amusements.
Keeping Australian traditions, both events in Melbourne and Sydney are going to be fun days for families where there will be lots of activities for the interest of all ages. Major attraction will include variety of ethnic halal food stalls, exhibits by the Australian halal food producers & suppliers; Halal products & services providers; local and national business promotional booths by the major Australian companies, government agencies, educational institutes, childcare centres, tourism operators and financial institutes offering Islamic finance, international money transfer companies and so on. Both Melbourne and Sydney events are the great opportunity for Halal products & services providers to promote Halal products and services to the people of Islamic and non-Islamic communities.
In Halal Expo 2016 Sydney, there will be a Halal conference where leaders of Islamic organisations, representatives of halal certification bodies and Islamic scholars and intellectuals will be invited to talk on the significance of Halal food, products & services in multicultural Australia.
