Sydney (Community Announcement by CREF 2024 team): Chand Raat is a multicultural celebration that signifies the culmination of the fasting month of Ramadan and the eve of Eid-Al-Fitr in the Islamic Calendar. It is an inclusive family cultural event designed for people of all backgrounds to attend. The event features activities such as henna/face painting, food stalls, amusement rides, community organization booths, and captivating stage performances.
The guiding principle behind our event is “Promoting Culture, Harmony & Friendship“.
The term “Chand Raat” refers to the night of the Eid-Al-Fitr moon, making it a truly unique and special evening. Our event aims to:

- Motivate the younger generation, especially Australian-born individuals, to actively engage in community development activities.
