3-Member Reform Committee of PAF

Important Announcement Pakistani Australian Federation (PAF)

Sydney (Press Release from PAF): As you are aware, Pakistani Australian Federation (PAF) was formed in June
2010. For the last over a year or so, most of the top executive members of PAF have been away in their own personal/professional engagements, some of them moved overseas. Nevertheless, the President, Syed Atiq ul Hassan, myself and some other members made PAF alive by representing Pakistan Community in Multicultural events and in the media yet this is not enough.

The founding President had already dissolved the executive committee and assigned me the job to reform the executive bodies and also make the PAF active on ground. Despite of the fact that I am already devoting my time in large community projects, I would like to make PAF stand up and work for the Pakistan community achieving excellent manifesto. The founding president likes to see the young blood running PAF on long term projects in broader interest of the Pakistanis in Australia for that, Insha Allah, we will always have his blessings and experience behind us.

Therefore, I need to form a 3-Member Reform Committee of PAF to launch the membership drive for few weeks before I call the AGM to new bodies election. In this regard, I would like to invite members of the Pakistani community especially the young generation to work with me for PAF in the larger interest of the Pakistani Community.

If you would like to volunteer yourself for one of the 3-Members Reform Committee please email me your contact details on sarwat@tribune-intl.com , or call me on 0478 569 828.

Looking forward to hear from you soon

Sarwat Hassan

Public Officer,
