Qatar Airways will double the number of weekly flights to Gassim from four to eight from May 15, while Madinah flights were recently increased from five to seven per week.
The airline has also added Al Hofuf in Saudi Arabia as a new destination with four flights per week starting from May 15.
With this, Qatar Airways will now fly to seven cities in Saudi Arabia and will operate a total of 79 flights per week.
The Al Hofuf route will be operated with an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration of 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class, a report said.
“As we continue to expand our network and receive more aircraft, we will keep looking at opportunities to add capacity to our existing network and further strengthen our links within the Gulf itself,” Qatar Airways chief executive, Akbar Al Baker was quoted as saying in the report.
