Tape Ball Cricket Tournament postponed due to rainy weather

Sydney; The confusion surrounding the 4th Tape Ball Cricket Tournament on Australia Day Long weekend, Monday, 28 Jan 2013 has ended with Clubs management announcing that all schedule matches have been postponed until prior notice because of the bad weather all across the Sydney.

The decision made after an understanding was reached by the Organisers & management, was later announced one hour before the first match at 8 Am.  Tournament Matches will be rescheduled to begin on next available day by the Council. This is to Inform to all Captains and Players that Tournament Matches Schedule & Team Draws will be remain same.

“Tape Ball Cricket Club Sydney” Organisor, Mr. Malick , said. “It made little sense to have the teams turn up for matches which they knew were not going to take place and this would have caused frustrations to Players, fans and officials as well. “The weather is beyond any of our control and the Club will now work with Council to ensure that the matches are rescheduled to a time when the Grounds are available and the weather is more favourable for cricket.”
