Sydney (PAF Press Release): Pakistani Australian Federation (PAF) was launched on 19 June 2010, however, the organization could not actively play its role and achieve its prime manifesto due to non-availability of the key members of Central Executive Committee which was formed on adhoc-basis at the establishment of PAF. However, in the last four years within the limited resources PAF played its role, represented Pakistani community whenever and wherever needed.
Now as the period of the adhoc committee has already expired, we need to restructure and for new Central and other committees and also open branch in Victoria. Being the founding Chairperson of PAF my dream is to see the 7-point agenda of PAF fulfilled and PAF should unite and represent as an umbrella organization for all Pakistanis in Australia.
I am delighted to announce here that I am launching the re-structuring and re-forming process of various committees of PAF including opening the branch of PAF in Victoria. In this regard, two talented members of Pakistani communities have come forward. They are already delivering excellent services to the multicultural communities under the other large multicultural organisations and possess huge experience.
Sarwat Hassan, will be looking after the re-structuring & formation of committees in NSW and Ali Awan will be looking after the opening of PAF branch in Victoria (Melbourne) and forming a committee for Victoria.
Therefore, members of the Pakistani Community in NSW and Victoria are requested to join Pakistani Australian Federation (PAF) and play active roles by offering themselves for various roles in different committees in NSW and Victoria.
In this regard, for general information I can be contacted, however, for joining PAF in NSW contact Sarwat Hassan on mobile 0414 204 093 and for joining PAF in Victoria contact Ali Awan on 0432 175 822.
