Editor Pak Link Asif Muhammed met with the CEO of Cricket World Cup 2015 Mr John Harnden and the General Manager for Communications & Community Engagement ICC Cricket World Cup, Mr  John Kent, today, in the office of the Minister Dominello.

The meeting was arranged in order to find out ways & means to bring members of the Pakistani Community into ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 games to be held in Australia and New Zealand. In the meeting Mr Kent and Mr Harnden presented an overview of the preparations of the World Cup especially their plans to involve cricket loving ethnic communities. Both officials responded to the questions raised by Mr Uqauli and Mr Hassan in relation to the Community involvement and promotion of the World Cup within the Pakistani Community in Australia. people in Australia especially people of those countries taking part in the World Cup 2015. Both officials express their interest to closely working with the community leaders, ethnic media, diplomats and the minister to make the coming World Cup games and events great for everyone. Mr. Kent told that the meeting that the online purchase of the tickets will be opened to the public from next month (14 February 2014) and soon more promotional activities will be coming on the scenes.

Mr. Kent appreciated the efforts being made by the Minister Dominello and Mr Uquaili promoting World Cup 2015 in the Pakistani Community.

newspaper, will play its role to promote Cricket World Cup activities in the ethnic communities and among broad Australians.

Mr. Hassan also promised to make necessary arrangements to promote Cricket World Cup through the mega multicultural events to held in 2014 in Sydney and Melbourne by his organisation CREF Incorporated and Knobin Consulting.

Consul General Abdul also presented traditional Sindhi Ajrat (Shawl) to the Minister Dominello, Mr Kent and Mr Harnden who thanked the Consul General for his kindness.

It is to be noted that ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be held in Australia and New Zealand where 10 Cricket Nations will be playing each other all together 49 games, following are the fixtures of the games to be played in Australia and New Zealand:
