HEA 2016 executives host dinner for Halal industry personalities

Sydney (Media Release Halal Expo Australia 2016): A dinner function was hosted by the executives of Halal Expo Australia 2016 Sydney in the honour of the Sydney-based halal industry players at the Lal Qila Restaurant, Surry Hills (Sydney) on Monday 1st of February 2016.

Including Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili and NSW Member of Legislative Council Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane many prominent halal business community leaders attended the function.

The Marketing Executive, Sabeh ul Hassan, delivered a presentation to the attendees describing the aims and details of the events of Halal Expo Australia 2016.

Talking on the issues within the Halal Industry, the Director, Syed Atiq ul Hassan, said that 1st International Halal
Conference (IHC) 2016 will play a key role in addressing, documenting resolutions on the critical issues related to present halal industry in Australia. He said that the organisers are inviting experts, researchers and Islamic scholars to debate on the growing needs of the Australia Halal Industry and overcoming the critical issues. He said the organisers are trying to involve all the related stakeholders of the Halal Industry including the Government authorities in seeking a consensus on Halal processes, supply chain and delivery of Halal Products and Services.

Mr. Zain Sherriff the CEO of Lion Group, talking on the importance of the Halal Expo said that Halal Expo is the event for which the community was waiting for a long time and it is a need of the time not only for the Islamic community but for all Australians as Halal industry is a millions dollar export industry in the Australian economy.

Mr. Eddie Cofie Development Manager M & J Chickens, Mr. Muzammil Bhojan, Executive Director Radiance International, Mr. Atif Jamil Director Big Bird Group of Pakistan, Mr. Ejaz Anwar, Distributors Mehran Foods and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Director Guddo Foods demonstrated much interest in Halal Expo Australia and they also acknowledged the efforts and challenges being faced by the organiser to hold such large events in Sydney and Melbourne.

Hon Shaoquett Moselmane, MLC, valued the initiative of Halal Expo Australia, and said that these events will eliminate much mislead and stereotyping stories that are going in the media about the halal industry and will bring members of the Islamic and non-Islamic communities together.

At the end, the executives of HEA, thanked everyone that attended the dinner and looked forward to them being a part of Halal Expo Australia 2016.
