Message from the High Commissioner of Malaysia
“I am pleased to provide this message of support to the Halal Expo Australia 2016. Malaysia is actively involved in promoting the halal certification process internationally. We have excellent relations with the Australian Islamic organisations, particularly the Halal certification organisations providing Halal certifications to the Halal industry 
in Australia.”
“In this regard, the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) is working closely with Halal Certifications bodies in Australia. Halal Exhibition in Australia is a great initiative by the organiser and very timely indeed. Malaysian Consulate staff in Sydney attended the first Halal Expo held in Sydney in April 2015 and they were very impressed to see the significant interest of the members of Australian Islamic Community, Groups and Halal Businesses in the event.”
